Lost a game badly to someone whom I should have been on an even level with, last night, playing in the Online Scrabble Club. So frustrating and annoying, as I could not get any tiles. I either had 1 vowel and 6 consonants or 1 consonant and 6 vowels, and never got one of the power tiles.
So my opponent is piling on the points and I'm spelling the equivalent of cat and dog.
I always seem to wait too long to turn in my tiles for new ones. I have to get out of the habit of that. Although if you're not drawing well, sometimes even changing all your tiles doesn't matter!
